National TV and Radio Council Chairman Nushirvan Maharramli told "Trend" Information Agency that the opening of new TV channels is currently under consideration.
N. Maharramli said, "As the advertising market develops in the country, tenders will be offered for new TV channels." He added that new TV channels will be broadcast using new frequencies.

In the letter, IRFS inquired about the existence of a list of frequencies for TV-radio broadcast was formed, the number of potential frequencies available for TV channels and radio stations, and how many of these frequencies are in use.
