Today (11 August) a group of Musavat Party Youth Organization members attempted to conduct a picket in front of the Russian Federation Embassy in Azerbaijan to protest against the Russia-Georgia war which began on 8 August, and to demonstrate solidarity with Georgia.
There were approximately 10 participants in the action, which was ultimately prevented by police.
There were no reports of journalists experiencing pressure during the action.
