In its April 2 meeting the National Television and Radio Council (NTRC) adopted a decision to grant a 6-year special permit (license) to the Intelligent Transport Management Center for broadcasting radio on 107.7 MHz frequency band. The permit was granted on a non-competitive (hors concours) basis according to the articles 7 (state broadcaster) and
15.1 (competition on obtaining a broadcast license) of the Azerbaijani Law on TV and Radio Broadcasting.
Besides, based on the article 29 (TV and radio broadcasting via satellite) of the same law, a 6-year special permit was granted to the Caspian International Broadcasting Company LLC for broadcasting a TV channel via satellite.
