According to today’s edition of “Bizim Gundem” Newspaper, the interest of officials and oligarchs in the press has increased.
“Bizim Gundem” reports that two newspapers, one magazine and a TV channel will soon be operated under the patronage of Ziya Mammadov, the minister of transport.
At the same time, it is also reported that, Mammedov, who is the chairman of “ZQAN Holding,” will found a news agency. To carry out all of this work, Z. Mammedov will have to invest around 20 mln. USD.
Minister of Economic Development Heydar Babayev is also expected to found two magazines and one newspaper.
