Today a hearing took place under the chairmanship of Yasamal District Court Judge Ragib Gurbanov on Azerbaijan Publishing House Senior Editor Ilham Sadigov’s lawsuit against “Azadlig” Newspaper’S editorial office and Elmira Tofiggizi.
Ilham Sadigov and the defendant’s lawyer Elchin Sadigov participated in the hearing. Ilham Sadigov defended his lawsuit and emphasized that in several editions of “Azadlig” newspaper he has been libeled, insulted and misrepresented. He requested that the court fulfill his claim. Defense lawyer Elchin Sadigov stated that the claim is groundless and he doesn’t accept it.
