
During the process, A. Khalil, who was participating as a witness, stated that Sadigov truly did face pressure during the investigative process. Although he wanted to leave the department, Sadigov was forced to stay there until 2 a.m.
Sadigov told the Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety, “In their statements, investigators Parviz Ibayev and Kamal Talibov, who were both participating in the hearing, denied that I wanted to go home.”
At the end of today’s hearing, the judge announced that tomorrow he will reveal his ruling.
