EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Peter Semneby, who is visiting Azerbaijan, met with President Ilham Aliyev today, (24 February).
They discussed Azerbaijan’s relations with EU, the regulation of Armenian-Azerbaijan, Karabakh conflict, cooperation in the energy sphere, and regional issues, according to Radio Liberty.
Before the meeting was held, Semneby told Radio Liberty that situation of human rights and media freedom would be discussed during the meetings in Baku, and added that imprisoned bloggers would be the focal point of their agenda.
