POLICE INTERROGATE ABDUCTED AZADLIG REPORTER

On April 11, “Azadlig” reporter Ramin Deko was invited to the Chief Interior Ministry Department for the Fight Against Organized Crime.

Ramin Deko told Objective TV that he had once again been interrogated about his abduction and assault, which happened on April 3rd. The perpetrators have not yet been apprehended. The day before, the same thing happened to fellow Azadlig employee, political commentator Seymur Haziyev.
“Investigator Fakhri Babazade, Interior Ministry Operation Department Head Nadir Mammadov and ministry representative Seymur Safarov visited  the incident scene with me,” said the journalist. He added that he had then been taken to the Baku City Central Police Department, where he was questioned about the April 2nd opposition protests.
