As a result of problems with Russian telecommunications company’s fiber-optic communications cable in the area of Mahajgala, Dagestan, problems with Azerbaijan’s internet also arose yesterday.
A representative from Delta Telecommunications Company, an Azerbaijani universal communications company, told APA-Economics that the problem started at about 6 p.m. last night. The problem did not result in loss of internet service, however internet speed was severely reduced.
