SOUTH CAUCASUS NETWORK OF HUMAN RIGHTS DEFENDERS CONDUCTS ACTION IN TBILISI

Yesterday, 20 July, the South Caucasus Network of Human Rights Defenders held a protest action in Tbilisi – in front of Russia’s Embassy to Georgia. Action participants objected to the recent murder of human rights defender Natalya Estemirova and the arrest of Azeri bloggers Emin Milli and Adnan Hajizade.

he representatives of South Caucasus Network of Human Rights Defenders held slogans in their hands. About 30 NGO representatives from three countries participated in the action. Local and international media representatives monitored the event.
The South Caucasus Network of Human Rights Defenders is a network in South Caucasus (Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia) to join NGOs overseeing human rights and assisting human rights defenders.
