The Television Academy began to operate at “Azerbaijan State Television and Radio Broadcasting” Closed Shareholder Society. Former president of Space TV channel and Journalism Chair head at Baku Slavic University Etibar Babayev has been appointed to rector of the Academy that began operating on 1 March, according to APA information agency. The Academy will prepare TV specialists and lessons will begin within one month.
According to the information, at the initial stage, the Academy will be engaged in improving professions of AZTV employees in the first stage, and in the following stage, contests will be announced. This stage will be deal with complete education and specialists will be prepared for other channels.”
Additional funds were not allocated from the state budget for the Television Academy and it will be financed by the fund allocated from the state budget for AZTV, according to APA.
