Convicted in the “Nardaran case” Jabbar Jabbarov was placed in the punishment cell in jail N 1 for six days, said his relatives. According to them, the formal reason for the punishment was a fight between prisoners. However, Jabbarov did not participate in this.

Jabbarov was detained during a special operation by security officials in the village of Nardaran in 2015 against the leader of the Muslim Unity Movement Tale Bagirzadeh.
Jabbarov was subsequently sentenced to 19 years in prison on charges of terrorism, arms trafficking, premeditated murder, organizing mass riots, and other crimes.
