The criminal case against Ramil Dadashov, the driver of the Iranian Sahar TV’s Azerbaijan office, under Article 241.1 (Using money or other property acquired through illegal circulation of drugs) has been fully prepared and is now ready to go to trial, reported his lawyer Gahraman Pirmammadov to IRFS today.
According to the lawyer, the case is being considered by judge Zeygam Huseynov of Sumgait City Court, but the date of the trial has not been set.
Ramil Dadashov was detained on February 17th in Sumagit city; Sumgait City Court sentenced him to 3 months of pre-trial detention on the same day. On February 24th Sumgait Appeals Court denied the appeal against the decision. He is currently being held in Shuvalan Investigative Prison.
