Today (28 April) the Public Relations Manager of US Embassy Jonathan Hennick’s assistant contacted Uzeyir Jafarov, the military journalist and employee of the now shuttered “Gundalik Azerbaijan” Newspaper.
U.Jafarov told this to the Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety, “Today they called called and asked about the incident that happened to me. During our conversation I asked for the security for myself, my family and relatives. The assistant said that this is a focus of their attention.”
