Today Committee against Torture Chairman Elchin Behbudov met with the editor-in-chief of “Gundalik Azerbaijan” and “Realniy Azerbaijan” newspapers Eynulla Fatullayev, who is held in Prison #13.
Elchin Behbudov told the Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety, “His health is normal, but he has a problem with the leadership of the prison. He doesn’t want these problems to be reflected in the press. This problem was already solved during a meeting with the leadership.”
According to Behdbudov, chief editor is happy about being recognized by Human Rights Watch as a prominent writer, and thanks organizations and journalist friends for supporting him.
