The showman Murad Dadashov is expected to hold a strategic position in the TV channel organization, which will be lead by the popular news-caster Nargiz Djalilova. The flow of employees and appeals from other TV channels to NTV has already begun. Furthermore, the technological equipment will conform to the world standards and employees will receive maximum salaries in the TV channel, which has relation to the ruling family.
The NTV channel will go on the air on December 23, one day before President Ilham Aliyev’s birthday.
There are rumors in the community that the “Sevil” cinema club located in the Yasamal district and which is being repaired fundamentally will be given to the new TV channel.
NTRC assistant chairman told the Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety that this information is not true.
