ACCESS TO AZADLIG DAILY’S WEBSITE BANNED

Access to Azadlig daily’s website has been banned in governmental agencies, the web-editor Ali Rza told the Institute for Reporters` Freedom and Safety on 7 October.

According to Ali Rza, several persons working in governmental agencies, who didn’t identify themselves, phoned the editorial office and informed that the employees were warned against entering the website, and access to the  website was blocked.   
“Some providers were also ordered to block the access to Azadlig website. So far, Azeurotel subscribers have been able to enter the website,” Ali Rza noted.
An Azeurotel employee, who didn’t identify himself, told IRFS that they didn’t impose any limit on Azadlig website access.
Azadlig is a daily newspaper, which has been published since 24 December, 1989
