According to “Turan” Information Agency, on the night of 24 July “Azadlig” newspaper correspondent Agil Khalil (Khalilov) departed for France.
On 22 July Khalil was able to pass through all the check points, but was stopped by the employees of State Border Service. He was told that he was a “wanted person,” and therefore could not leave the country. However, on the night of 23 July, Khalil came to the airport and successfully left.
Agil Khalil has in the past attempted to go abroad several times, however he was stopped at the order each time.
