On May 18th at 2pm, the Baku Administrative-Economic Court (32 Shirin Mirzayev street, Nizami Dsitrict, Baku) will hold a hearing on the lawsuit filed by Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety (IRFS) Chairman Emin Huseynov against the State Customs Commitee, the Ministry of Justice and the Minsitry of Finance. The lawsuit requests the court to declare the activities of these three public institutions illegal, to rule for the prohibition of discrimination and to demand financial compensation for material and criminal damage.
Journalists, rights defenders and diplomatic corps representatives are invited to attend.
