Note: On December 6th 2011, International Media Support announced that its project Azerbaijan Media Center would merge with the Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety, a local NGO. As of January 2012, the Azerbaijan Media Center has provided services and premises for media and civil society to hold events and public discussions through IRFS, in parallel with IRFS’ extended program to support freedom of expression in Azerbaijan.
