“AZADLIG” NEWSPAPER STAFF AND EMPLOYEE OF “BIZIM YOL” NEWSPAPER WIN INTERNATIONAL PRESS FREEDOM AWARD

“Azadlig” Newspaper staff and “Bizim Yol” Newspaper employee Natig Javadli have won the “Free Press of Eastern Europe” Prize.

The Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety was told this by “Azadlig” Newspaper Director Azer Ahmadov and journalist Natig Javadli.
Azer Ahmadov, noting that the prize has been founded by Germany’s ZEİT-Stiftunq Fund and Norway’s “Freedom of Speech” fund, said that this is evidence that “Azadlig” Newspaper is the most independent newspaper in Eastern Europe and the post Soviet space.
Journalist Natig Javadli evaluated this prize as support given to Azerbaijan’s press.
