The Director of Azadlig daily, Azer Ahmadov, resigned from his position today.
The reason for his resignation is a sex video posted on the Facebook social network and numerous other sites.
“Ahmadov considers it a provocation against himself and resigned because of the fact that this provocation could target Azadlig daily as a whole,” Azadlig editor Ganimat Zahid reported to Turan News Agency.
Ganimat Zahid says that this is not the first provocation against the opposition newspaper’s leadership by special service agencies.
