“Azadlig” Newspaper’s internet site (www.azadliq.az) has restored its activity.
The Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety was told this by the newspaper’s director Azer Ahmadov. Although the site restored its operations through a little budget after it was destroyed by hackers twice, it did not last long, added Azer Ahmedov.
Ahmadov noted that work is being done on the website and news will be updated next week when the newspaper is published (it currently a weeklong holiday in Azerbaijan) and the site will transfer to an “online service” if the financial situation improves.
