Yesterday, 2 March, in the Yasamal District Court, under the chairmanship of Judge a court hearing was held on the lawsuit of the head of the Center for Assistance to Free Economy Zohrab Ismayil against the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of Population. The plaintiff was represented by Media Rights Institute Lawyer Fariz Namazli, and the defense was represented by Ilgar Abbasov.
I. Abbasov said that plaintiff’s inquiry was responded to verbally and this was registered in the registry.
In today’s hearing, only the plaintiff participated (3 March). Plaintiff’s lawyer Fariz Namazli told the judge that there was no notation in the registry indicating that the inquiry was responded orally. Judge T. Ismayilov postponed the hearing until 5 March at 4:00 p.m. because the defense was not present.
Z. Ismayil filed a lawsuit demanding that a decision be adopted to consider the refusal to answer to an information inquiry he sent unfounded and to compel the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of Population to answer the inquiry.
