Imprisoned Editor-in-Chief of “Gundelik Azerbaijan” and “Realniy Azerbaijan” newspapers Eynulla Fatullayev has been put in solitary confinement for ten days.
The journalist’s father Emin Fatullayev told the Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety, “The head of the prison cited his protest against the quality of food given to prisoners as the reason for moving him there. It is not fair to accept someone’s refusal from food because of the quality of the food as a violation of the law. I think, it is absurd to punish someone for something like this.”
