Emin Fatuallyev told this to the Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety.
He said, “I went to the Penitentiary Service of the Justice Ministry today, and I appealed to the leadership, expressing my protest against the attitude towards Eynulla in prison. There are people with many different characters in prison. The prison’s leadership must be able to show an attitude that is fitting for these characters. They told me they will look into this issue.”
Recall that Eynulla Fatullayev was put in solitary confinement for 10 days and reprimanded for allegedly violating prison regulations. The chief editor’s lawyer and father assessed this as an injustice.
