Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Special Co-rapporteur on Azerbaijan Andreas Herkel, who is visiting Azerbaijan, was presented the award “Friend of Journalists”, by the Political and Civil Rights Defense Center.
The Institute for Reporters` Freedom and Safety was told this by Political and Civil Rights Defense Center Head Parviz Hashimli.
Andreas Herkel was entitled the “Friend of Journalists” during a survey held among the employees of 15 newspapers, 4 television channels, 4 information agencies, 3 internet newspapers that was conducted by the Political and Civil Rights Defense Center.
