“Gundalik Baki” newspaper’s website has been subjected to hacker attacks. The Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety was told this by “Gundalik Baki” Newspaper Assistant Editor-in-chief Vazeh Bahramoglu.

According to Bahramoglu, they appealed to the National Security Ministry, the Internal Affairs Ministry, the Communication and Information Technologies Ministry and the Chief Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic in connection with this issue.
Someone under “Hero_Aze” pseudonym, claiming to be a member of “Azerbaijan Defacers” hacker group, wrote an email to gaynar.info (hotline) and stated that he does not intend to destroy “Gundalik Baki” newspaper’s site, but wants to warn the newspaper to fill gaps in the program, noted Bahramoglu.
“I changed your password to protect you from foreign intervention. I can come to the editorial office to investigate this issue, if you want,” wrote the hacker.
V.Bahramoglu added that they are trying to negotiate with the hacker to solve the problem.
