I was passing by the Kazakhstan Embassy when an embassy guard stopped me. As the term of my journalistic card had expired, I showed them my ID card and told them that I am a journalist. However, they didn’t care for this and the police interfered. I was taken to Nasimi District Police Department #20. I was set free after they identified me.
An employee of the police department who didn’t identify himself told IRFS that Bayramoglu was detained for attempting to [photograph the building of the Embassy and was set free immediately after he was identified.
