Yesterday a group of human rights activists met with the imprisoned Editor-in-Chief of “Gundelik Azerbaijan” and “Realniy Azerbaijan” newspapers Eynulla Fatullayev who is held in the solitary confinement of prison #12.
Chingiz Genizade told the Institute for Reporters Freedom and Safety, “E.Fatullayev will be released from the solitary confinement on 20 April. He received a reprimand twice for violating discipline since he has been put in the solitary confinement. Third time his term in the solitary confinement might be prolonged. We talked to the chief of the prison and asked him to substitute this punishment with explanatory conversations. Fatullayev told us that he doesn’t have any health problems.”
