On February 24, at 9.30 am, an international media conference will be held at Rotunda Hall, Landmark Business Center as part of the “Free Airwaves” project.
The conference will showcase the results of a two year media monitoring program operated by the Institute for Reporter’s Freedom and Safety. International experts will present at the event.
Presentations will cover the TV and radio broadcasting situation in Azerbaijan, draft media laws prepared by the Media Rights Institute, station licensing issues, activities of the National Television and Broadcasting stations in Azerbaijan and other media related issues.
Lunch will be served at the event.
The event is open to journalists, NGO representatives, diplomatic corps representatives and all interested persons.
