
Eynulla’s father Emin Fatullayev told to the Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety that Japan Journalist Union Chairman Kei Ighikava sent a letter to the President Ilham Aliyev. Fatullayev’s release and the payment of compensation to him is demanded in the letter.
“Eynulla is writing a statement for the European Court of Human Rights about the real reasons behind his arrest. He is still not given newspapers. Eynulla asks human rights defenders to assist him to get newspapers, if they can’t achieve his release,” added Fatullayev’s father.
