Journalist harassed, briefly detained while covering Flower Day

Azer Sadikhov, reporter of Huriyyet newspaper says he was assaulted while covering Flower Day in Baku on May 10. “Several policemen and plainclothes hindered me when I was covering the Flower Festival in front of Heydar Aliyev Palace. They took my camera, grabbed my arms and pulled me away. Then they shoved me into a patrol car and used force against me. I was kept inside the car for several hours until the event was over, and was released after they had deleted everything I had filmed” said Sadikhov.
