Today (15 December), Baku Administrative Economic Court # 1 held a hearing on the lawsuit filed by the Media Rights Institute against the State Commission on Radio Frequencies Chairman Abid Sharifov on failure to respond to an information inquiry.
Judge Museyib Bayramov presided over the hearing. The Judge granted the lawsuit, Media Rights Institute lawyer Fariz Namazov reported to IRFS today.

Background
Media Rights Institute sent an information inquiry to the chairman of the State Commission on Radio Frequencies Abid Sharifov to unveil free frequencies envisaged for radio and television broadcasting in May of 2011. However, the National television and Radio Council did not respond to inquiry and the Media Rights Institute then filed a lawsuit against failure to respond to the inquiry.
