"Yeni Musavat" Newspaper’s leadership appealed to Minister of Interior Ramil Usubov today.
"In the appeal we asked Minister R. Usubov to take necessary measures with regards to the threats made against our employee and around our editorial office,” "Yeni Musavat" Newspaper Assistant Editor-in-chief Azer Aykhan told the Institute for Reporters' Freedom and Safety. “I have already contacted the Press Relations Manager of the Tax Ministry about this matter and asked him to take the matter seriously and to report this to the Minister. But he apologized, saying that there isn't enough evidence in the information and that is why they have difficulty reporting this to the Minister."
