Vilyam Hajiyev, Chief of Executive Power of Imishli district has filed a lawsuit against the mia.az over the article “700,000 AZN debt scandal of the chief executive: Vilyam Hajiyev questioned at Department for Combating Organized Crime”. The information agency has received summons from Sabail District Court, which requests the agency to send its representative to attend the preliminary hearing of Hajiyev’s lawsuit on April 24. Hajiyev demands that the newspaper publishes retraction and pays him 100,000 AZN in compensation.
