MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS SUED FOR NOT RESPONDING TO INFORMATION INQUIRY

The Defense League of Citizen’s Labor Rights has sued the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety was told this by Defense League of Citizen’s Labor Rights’ Chairman Sahib Mammadov. According to Mammedov, the lawsuit stems from failure to respond to an information inquiry from the organization to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“We wanted to get information about a report of Azerbaijan’s government sent to Human Rights Committee’s session #96 to be held from June 13 to June 31 in Geneva, but the Ministry did not answer our inquiry,” said S. Mammadov, noting that the lawsuit has been submitted to the Yasamal District Court.
