Today, 1 September, IRFS Nakhchivan correspondent Elman Abbosov, one of three journalists that were beat on 27 August while preparing reports in Nahrem Village in the Babek region of Azerbaijan Autonomous Republic of Nakhchivan, gave a statement to Nakhchivan’s Prosecutor’s Office.
E.Abbasov told IRFS that he gave the investigation detailed information about the incident.
The other two beaten journalists – Radio Liberty correspondents Malahet Nasibova and Ilgar Nasibov’s gave statements to same office on 30 August.
Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Prosecutor’s Office informed IRFS that an investigation into the case is being carried out, and the people who committed attacked the journalists will be found and punished.
