According to today’s edition of “Azadlig” Newspaper, a new TV channel could be opened in Azerbaijan next month.
“There’s no information about the founder of the channel, but it is stated that the TV channel will directly be under direct control of ruling family. The name of the channel also points to this – ‘Nargiz TV’,” reports “Azadlig” Newspaper.
It is noted in the article that different journalists and professionals have received offers to work for the new TV channel. The creators of the channel plan to prepare test broadcasting for mid October. The first formal broadcast could happen on 15 October, the day of the presidential elections, or the day that the president takes office.
