According to today’s edition of “Azadlig” newspaper, one of the people who “Azadlig” Newspaper correspondent Agil Khalil in “Zeytun Baglari” on 22 February is Akif Chovdarov.
The paper reports that Chovdarov receive the order “For Bravery” by the president in 2005 for participation in the “Qara Kemer” (Black Belt) Operation. A picture showing the president and the people awarded, including National Security Ministry employee Chovdarov, was published in the newspaper. The newspaper believes that this one of reasons why Chovdarov is not being punished for beating a journalist.
