The pretrial detention of Khayal TV executive director Vugar Gonagov, Khayal TV editor Zaur Guliyev and chief of Guba Regional Municipality Elkhan Aliyev was extended until December 1, reports Mediaforum.az.
According to lawyer Elchin Sadigov the decision was made on September 8 by the Nasimi District Court judge Shalala Hasanova, following the presentation of evidence by the Department on Investigation of Grave Crimes under the Prosecutor General's Office.

On March 13th Vugar Gonagov and Zaur Guliyev were arrested and sentenced to 2 months pre-trial detention. Vugar Gonagov was forced by the investigator to refuse the legal service of his lawyer Elchin Sadigov.
