Head of the Radio Liberty Baku office Khadija Ismayilova announced at the Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety that she has resigned from her position, today (21 September).
Ismayilova said that she made this decision last week and that she will only continue her journalistic activity with the radio. “I thought it over for a long time. Last week we discussed it with the leadership and my resignation was approved. There was a Creative and administrative issue that wasn’t working out. Therefore, I chose journalism,” Ismayilova affirmed.
