Today, 3 August, Azadlig newspaper Editor-in-chief Ganimat Zahid told the Institute for Reporters` Freedom and Safety that the problem between Azadlig newspaper and Azerbaijan Publishing House regarding the newspaper’s debt had been solved through negotiations.
Zahid pointed out that the publishing house's management allowed the newspaper's employees to enter the publishing house. Zahid emphasized that their next publication will be tomorrow, 4 August.
Yesterday, 2 August, following orders from management, guards did not allow the employees of Azadlig newspaper to enter the Azerbaijan Publishing House. It was stated that the employees were not allowed to enter due to a debt Azadlig owed the publishing house. Azadlig newspaper was not published today because of the employees were not allowed to enter the editorial office.
