Well-known journalist and satirist Mirza Sakit (Zahidov) has disappeared since April 12.

According to Rena Zahidova, she doesn’t have any information on the whereabouts of her husband since yesterday.
“I phoned him repeatedly starting this morning. However he did not answer my calls. My family is very anxious.
An anonymous caller phoned us and told that he knows where Mirze Sakit is and he also told that he will bring Mirze Sakit to his house. The person’s phone number was blocked” said R.Zahidova.
Mirze Sakit was accused for possession of narcotics on 23 June, 2006. He was sentenced to three years imprisonment. He was released by an amnesty decree in March, 2009.
