Yesterday (22 May) in the France Embassy in Baku “Azadlig” newspaper director Azer Ahmadov met with the European Union Countries diplomatic mission leaders in Azerbaijan.
Ahmadov reported this to the Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety. He noted that the situation during the run-up for presidential elections and press freedom were discussed during the meting. The director added that Claire Delessard, Political Advisor to European Union Special Representative South Caucuses Peter Semneby, visited “Azadlig” Newspaper’s editorial office and the abovementioned issues were discussed.
