Poligon Information Agency (pia.az) employee, fourth year student of “Oil Mechanics” faculty at Azerbaijan State Oil Academy is at risk of being dismissed from the university. Today, 16 December, E.Badalov told this to the Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety. He said that he has a problem with implementing his course project.
“The AZNEFTKIMYAMASH ASC (AZINMASH Plant) leadership refuse to give us needed material under pretext of having a lot of work and claim that the archive does not work,” said Badalov.
The director of Azinmash plant told IRFS that they have not received any appeal from the Azerbaijani State Oil Academy concerning course projects of the students. R.Gurbanov added that the material that E.Badalov needs does not exist in the plant. “I told this student to change his topic, and then we will help him”.
Recently student-journalist Elmin Badalov gave information about pressure used against him by the leadership of the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy because he brought attention to the corruption within the academy.
