TENDER FOR NEW RADIO FREQUENCY EXPECTED

“Compared with other countries, there are fewer radio stations in Azerbaijan. We think the number of radio stations in the country should be increased.”

National TV and Radio Council Chairman Nushiravan Maharramli told this to journalists today, according to APA.

According to Maharramli, in the near future a decision could be made to conduct a tender for a new radio frequency. Nushiravan Maharramli didn’t explain whether the new radio station will be opened before the presidential elections in October.
