Today, 6 March, in the Yasamal District Court, under the chairmanship of Judge Tahir Ismayilov, a preparatory court hearing was held on the lawsuit of the head of the Center for Assistance to Free Economy Zohrab Ismayil against the Statistics Committee for not responding to information inquiry.
Adil Guliyev, a representative for the defense, said that the Statistics Committee received the inquiry on 21 January. According to A.Guliyev, they received a similar information inquiry from the same address when they were preparing the response and sent the response to the address the second inquiry came from.
“We thought we responded both inquiries since the letters came from the same address,” he added. “Radio Liberty” addressed the second inquiry to the Statistics Committee.
In the end, the judge accepted the lawsuit for consideration and scheduled the next hearing for 16 March at 3:00 p.m.
