On December 22 Aflatun Amashov, Press Council chairman met with imprisoned journalists-Rovshan Kabirli, Yashar Agazade, Samir Sadagatoglu, Rafig Tagi and Faramaz Allahverdiyev.
Rahim Huseynzade, Press Council Secretary told this to the Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety. According to him, the chairman was interested in the health of imprisoned journalists. Except “Nota bene” Newspaper correspondent Faramaz Novruzoglu, all imprisoned journalists feel good. The secretary also added that, the Press Council chairman discussed pardon matter with them and the Press Council has already addressed an appeal to the president.
