Yesterday, 28 November, imprisoned "Azadlig" Newspaper journalist/satiric Sakit Zahidov was visited in Prison #10 by his wife Rena Zahidova.
Rena Zahidova told this to the Institute for Reporters' Freedom and Safety.
According to Zahidova, her husband does not have any complaints about prison conditions and the attitude of prison officials towards him. “Sakit follows the press and listens to the radio,” said Zahidova. “He does not believe that the broadcasting of foreign radio stations will be ceased and hopes that this issue will be positively solved.”
